Steven Jobs said: “the iPad is more intimate than a laptop and more capable than a smartphone.” That’s actually the phrase that sums it all. Forget all the mumbo jumbo that it’s targeted at e-readers and netbook users.

Recently unveiled, this new, revolutionary device is soon to reach all stores around the world and it’s ready to exceed all kinds of expectations.

iPad tablet advantages over the competence

iPad is perfect for integrating your mobile and computing needs. You can browse the Web, read e-mails, watch videos, see photos, listen to music, play games, you name it. With its 9.7-inch, LED-backlit display screen, and always precise, 0.5 inches slim design, it seems that it will become the ultimate chic geek gadget.

iPad tablet specifications

Versions come in 16, 32 and the more ambitious 64Gb internal flash memory, all with the A4 Apple 1Ghz chip processor. The ultra-fast Wireless-N Wi-Fi networking is the top feature as you will be able to use Internet anywhere with this device. Just imagine carrying it in its small, soft case, rather than having to carry a heavy laptop handbag.

The interface is user friendly as always. Apple doesn’t really fail when it comes to touch screens, especially a 1024×768 pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch. You can still use all the over 140,000 Applications from iPhone or the iPod Touch. The real knock-out obviously came when you can actually implement Amazon Kindle and read comfortably in this device as well. “Amazon has done a great job with the Kindle and we’re going to stand on their shoulders and go a little further,” Jobs said. (Ouch!)

The iPad synchronizes as well with iTunes, through the well-known standard Apple 30-pin to USB cable, so you can sync all of your contacts, videos, photos, music, movies, TV shows, and applications with your Mac or PC.
You can choose to use the built-in speakers or use the more private 3.5mm headphone jack.

iPad tablet top features

Other top feature was the 10-hour battery. Another ‘unintentional’ knock-out to the very stomach of laptops market. Just watch people preferring to do basic tasks in this device because they’ll have more energy and independence to move around, something that a 3 or 6 hour laptop battery wouldn’t let them do so.

The Bluetooth connectivity at 2.1 EDR just left people wondering about the pricing. Well, prepare yourself to be in a 12-hour line since it costs $499. The same price the iPhone cost when it was launched. Unbelievable.

The iPad is going to change everything for the simple reason that you just can’t define it by actual parameters, so it is really a step ahead into the future.
