Confidence and Elegance of London Translated into Dunhill 51.3 N

Dunhill 51.3 N was recently launched by Dunhill and named after London’s latitude. The modern take on the essence and interesting outlook on fun and adventure can be demonstrated by Dunhill’s recent release of their new scent, 51.3 N. Advertised alongside with the illustration or picture of gliding, the British sport evokes freedom with a strong association to focus and discipline.

A 50 ml bottle of Dunhill 51.3 N will cost around $75 to $92 in online retail stores. Despite the fact that it is way pricier compared to most brands, 51.3 N may be worth the money but it really depends on the person’s sense of style and preferences in fragrance. Despite the differences in preferences, several things are very clear with 51.3 N—although not a good way of describing men’s fragrances, Dunhill 51.3 N can perfectly be described as elegant and beautiful to smell.

The Fragrance

The use of base notes like sandalwood or grapefruit as a top note may be very obvious choices for a lot of perfumers but Dunhill 51.3 N includes the use of rhubarb which is highly unusually and definitely makes it very interesting. The rhubarb makes the whole composition very sweet. At one or two sprays you can definitely feel the top notes with the citrus aroma of the grapefruit and very sweet, slightly sour rhubarb. The rhubarb component, though, may be a little bit tart to some people but it’s something really new and different.

After an hour or so the top notes are replaced by middle notes, of which lavender’s fresh and fragrant smell will be very distinctive for the remainder of the day. Pepper and pink pepper are a couple of ingredients not used very frequently contributing a spicy aroma to the whole composition. After a short while, the scent becomes drier and replaced by woodsy aromas created by sandalwood and vanilla.

The silage of Dunhill 51.3 N is slightly disappointing as it doesn’t stay very long. At most, the initial sprays will only last 3 hours or a little bit more and reapplication of the cologne will definitely be necessary.

The Packaging of Dunhill 51.3 N

The transparent bottle of Dunhill 51.3 N contributes in speaking for the elegance that it expresses through the actual scent. The bottle is covered by a silver cap with holes that create texture and vivid detail. Overall, the entire flagon is designed reminiscent of a lot of previous perfume lines from Dunhill. It looks very classical and masculine.

Conclusion

The Dunhill 51.3 N is a great perfume for everyday use for any male of any age. 51.3 N may be a bit pricey but it’s really worth buying. A criterion that this scent fails to reach is its longevity. All in all though, 51.3 N is a great, classic and elegant scent for men that can be worn day and night.
